This was an amazing exhibit of red and white quilts owned by Joanna Rose, a collector of over 1000 quilts (of which 650 were on display). It was on display in NYC for 6 days in April 2011. From the pictures in the article they were beautifully displayed.

Last night I watched “The Buddha” on PBS. For the fun of it I live blogged it on Twitter. Attached are screen shots of my blogging. Since it is a twitter feed read each slide from the bottom up. Or you can read it on Twitter searching the hashtag #thebuddha . I went to bed before it was over but I got most of it.
People only started writing about the Buddha 500 years after his death! In my humble opinion this twitter feed is no different than the first writings and how we know about the buddha today.
