Street Art Obsession and the obsession for yarn
Knitters have been known to help out Penguin’s in the past. Blue penguins in New Zealand have been soaked with oil from a tanker oil spill this month and need your help. Charity knitters here is the pattern.
A joke was played on Julia Robers on the set for Larry Crowne as the crew #knits. See Tom Hanks and other burly guys knit it up. I guess Julia Roberts is a big knitter. Only cool people knit.

Sometimes called grandma graffiti, yarn bombing takes that most matronly craft (knitting) and that most maternal of gestures (wrapping something cold in a warm blanket) and transfers it to the concrete and steel wilds of the urban streetscape. It is a global phenomenon, with yarn bombers taking their brightly colored fuzzy work to Europe, Asia and beyond.
